The Himalayas is a vast mountain range in Asia. Lara has visited it more than once during her travels. Especially there are a couple of versions of the plane crash that happened there and changed Laras life forever.
Tomb Raider
At the age of twenty-one, Lara was the only survivor of a plane crash deep in the heart of the Himalayas. She was on her way home from a skiing trip.
In the following two weeks she learned how to depend on her wits to stay alive in hostile conditions a world away from her sheltered upbringing. When she walked into the village of Tokakeriby her experience had had a profound effect on her.
