The USMC Dogtags is one of the three Semper Fi to be found in Tomb Raider (2013). It is one of the many relics in the game.
American soldiers would never have left these behind. I don't think any of them made it out of here alive.

Historical Precedent
Semper Fi is the shortened form of the phrase "Semper fidelis", which is Latin for "Always Loyal" or "Always Faithful". The phrase often appears in the form of Semper Fi in US Marine contexts.[2]
