Lost Fleet of Kublai Khan

The Lost Fleet of Kublai Khan is what the expedition of the Endurance was looking for, but before it reached Asia it was shipwrecked by a massive storm. The Endurance's team, among them young Lara Croft was stranded on an island where they have to fight for survival against the mysterious Scavengers.
Historical Precedent
In 1274 and 1281 Mongol emperor Kublai Khan, after conquering China, used to invade Japan twice, each time by means of a large fleet. Both times his fleet never reached Japan because of major typhoons. Because of these failed attempts Kublai Khan ultimately gave up on his invasion plans. The Japanese of the time interpreted the storms as divine intervention.[1]
