The first time Lara visited Angkor Wat she was 16 and accompanied by her mentor Werner Von Croy. This was in Tomb Raider The Last Revelation, in the first level. Lara raced against Werner for the Iris.

The second time Lara was in Angkor Wat, was in Tomb Raider The Movie, when Lara explored the Tomb of Dancing Light.
