The Journal (or Diary) is a feature first introduced in Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness. It returns in Tomb Raider Anniversary, Tomb Raider Underworld and Tomb Raider (2013). It contains notes Lara takes during her adventures.

- In Tomb Raider The Angel of Darkness Lara finds a diary left behind by her former mentor Werner von Croy. It helps her solve riddles.
