Worker

In the Nevada Desert in Tomb Raider 3 you will encounter these Workers.
They are not armed, they fight with bare fists, they are similar to the Brawlers you will meet in London, Tomb Raider 2 and Golden Mask.
If you keep them at bay, you will have no trouble using pistols. Just make sure that they are not too close to you.
Lost Souls
All of these workers have a certain picture displayed on their backs. It is easy to see when they are killed. The flaming skull on the picture is actually a Lost Soul - a monster from id Software's game Doom (1993).
