Welcome to the help page for Category.

A category is used to categorize articles by a certain theme.

All existing categories in WikiRaider can be found here: Special:Categories

To add a certain article to any category, go to the end of the article (not necessary, but a rule in WikiRaider to keep it clean) and add the category link:

When categorizing articles it sometimes makes sense to change the sorting order.

 • Names should be sorted "family name" first. To achieve this the category link should be as follows:
(example: in the article for Lara Croft)
 • Sometimes disambiguation pages are sorted into the same category as the articles they direct to.
 • The most prominent example is the main article for a category. (The article of the same name as the category) To separate the main article from the rest, set the category link as follows:
for the article called $CategoryName. (example: in the article for Enemies)
 • If other disambiguation pages, besides the main article for a category, are to be separated from the rest, one can use a number of characters just like the "space" for the main article.
The following characters can be used to sort articles in a category, in exactly this order:
 • !
 • #
 • $
 • '
 • *
 • +
 • -
(exampel: in the article for Human Opponents)
