You will meet Tigers in Tomb Raider II at the Great Wall in China, in Tomb Raider III in the India Section and in Tomb Raider Underworld, in Thailand.

Tigers are only dangerous when you are within their reach. Most of the time you will be able to find a safe spot nearby (e.g. a rock on which you can stand), where you will be out of reach for the tiger and can use your pistols. When you cannot find a place where you are safe from the tiger, use the shotgun to get rid of it quickly. In Underworld you can shoot them from a high place like a beam or a free climbing wall.
