The Hammer is a pickup found in Tomb Raider V in the level The 13th Floor.
Lara finds it inside a storeroom and can use it to break the lock off of door in order to progress in the level. This pickup is not mandatory since Lara can get past the door by simply shooting off the lock with her HK gun.
