Bow
The Bow is Lara's first weapon in the Tomb Raider (2013) (Reboot) and makes its return in Rise of the Tomb Raider. Where in the reboot the bow would be replaced by different models throughout the game, in Rise of the Tomb Raider Lara can collect four different bow types who all have their own upgrade tree.

Tomb Raider (2013)
After escaping the Scavenger Den and emerging on the cliff atop the shipwreck bay, Lara finds her way into a part of the forest where an unfortunate Dead Hunter is dangling from a tree. Lara can grab the bow from his corpse and then use it to hunt a deer.
Arrows for the bow are limited so Lara should not waste her ammunition and excessively grind for XP by shooting more deer, birds or bunnies.
By using her XP to upgrade a feature called Arrow Retrieval, Lara can regain the used arrows.
The bow itself can also be upgraded through the Bow Upgrades in a Base Camps menu.
