In Tomb Raider 1 you will encounter single bats.

In Tomb Raider 3 you will meet flocks of bats that are harmless.

In Tomb Raider 5 you will meet aggressive flocks of bats.

In Tomb Raider 6 (The Angel of Darkness) you will encounter single bats again.
