Rare Hide are hides that can be collected throughout Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Like in the previous games, they need to be collected from special animals that Lara sometimes needs to kill first. Of course they can also be purchased at any of the many Merchants around Kuwaq Yaku and Paititi, but they are quite pricey. Their primary use is in the Crafting of certain Outfits and Weapons.
Use rare animal hide to craft certain outfits and high-end weapon upgrades at Base Camps.
