The Philosopher's Gate is a stone building in Tomb Raider Chronicles which contains a portal to the cave where the Philosopher's Stone resides.
The gate is in a courtyard of the Streets of Rome. To enter the courtyard Lara needs two Garden Keys. To open the portal, she must place the four God Stones in their receptacles on the gate. However, the gate is also guarded by the Serpent Gargoyles that will come alive and stop anyone attempting to open the gate.
