The Mountain Peak is a location in Rise of the Tomb Raider. It is the first one of the game and is succeeded ba the Northwest Border of Syria location. This is the only location of the game that can not be revisited as there is no Base Camp here.
Lara and Jonah together climb a Siberian mountain Range in order to find the lost city of Kitezh. Half way up the mountain they are caught in a storm and they are separated by an avalanche. Lara is caught in the snow just as she thought she outran the avalanche.
This is an introductory location, mainly teaching the player about the Axe and how to run and jump.
Levels
On first play-through there is one level at this location: Ascension.
