Lara will first encounter these in Egypt in Tomb Raider 1. These come in three forms:
- Flying Demon can fly at Lara, attemting to knock her off ledges. They can also fire bombs and darts.
- Non-Flying Demons don't fly, but they do shoot bombs and darts at Lara.
- Demons don't fly or shoot bombs. They jump and scratch at Lara. They can attack in couples or groups, making them an equal threat as the other versions.
