The Gemstone is an artefact found in the level The Colosseum in Tomb Raider Chronicles.
It consists of two pieces which are found separately, then it can be combined before being used to gain access to the rooms where the Silver Statue is. When placed, the stone will cause the floor of the room to collapse revealing a pit of Lava.

Appearance
Round, flat gemstone with apparently golden edges and a purpleish center.
Powers
The Gemstone is not known to have any special powers, except when placed to its special receptacle, it causes the floor to crumble.
