Melinkov Island is on of the locations in The Golden Mask. Melnikov Island is a mysterious island of the Aleutian Islands, located in the Bering Sea , Alaska.
On this island Lara encounters a group of Sasquatches (Bigfoot-Creatures), Snowleopards, Eagles and human enemies.
