The Iris is an ancient Cambodian artefact.
In 1984, when Lara was 16, she accompanied Werner Von Croy to Angkor Wat where they found the Iris. Werner almost lost his leg in the process. Game: Last Revelation
Many years later Lara infiltrated the VCI (Von Croy Industries) office skyscraper to steal the Iris. Game: Chronicles
Since then it has been sitting in her Treasure Vault.
