The Gondola is a long but narrow boat that has a flat bottom and sometimes a cabin to hold passengers. It requires only a person to row or pole. The gondola is traditionally used in Venice, Italy.
In the Venice level from Tomb Raider II, there are gondolas floating in the canal. However, Lara cannot drive any of them, since their only purpose is to create an obstacle. The gondolas can be destroyed by driving directly through them with the motorboat.
