Steph was a character in Tomb Raider (2013). Her name has been cut from the final release, however in some of the early demos it was still being mentioned by Lara, Roth, and the other Survivors of the Endurance.
Steph was the latest victim of the Scavenger in the first level Scavenger's Den, and the first one Lara comes across.
She was a colleague of Lara's on board the Endurance before she was murdered and strung up in a strange ritual.
No official background story has ever been released, for example her last name and function aboard the Endurance as well as her relationship with her crew mates is unknown. When later on in the demo Lara tells the other survivors of Steph's death, though, they are shocked, so it is reasonable to assume that she was a respected and well liked member of the crew.
