Lara travels to Tokyo to meet with Yakuza crimelord Shogo Takamoto as he is in posession of the stolen fragment of the sword. Takamoto suggests meeting on neutral territory at Toru Nishimura's corporate party, not realising he is an old friend of Lara's.
