The Earl of Farringdon is a faceless character in the Tomb Raider universe. He was first introduced as Lara's intended in the classic Tomb Raider Games.

Earl of Farringdon (Classic)

At the age of 21 Lara's marriage into wealth had seemed assured, but on her way home from a skiing trip, her chartered plane had crashed.[1] After surviving in the wild for a couple of days, Lara returned to the claustrophobic suffocating atmosphere of upper-class British society. She broke off her engagement to the Earl of Farringdon, unable to stand this life any longer.

Earl of Farringdon (Reboot)

When searching Croft Manor for documents during the Blood Ties storyline, you can stumble across one of Amelia's Journals titled Next Steps. In it, Amelia mentions that she has broken off her engagement to the Earl of Farringdon.
