Creation
In the 15th century, Pieter Van Eckhardt prepared to resurrect the extinct Nephilim race and for that he created an artifact which would be able to contain immense power in which he named The Sanglyph. The artifact was made up of five seperate, metallic parts which all beared a special symbol of their own. In order to wield it, Pieter Van Eckhardt created a seperate accessory known as glove, which was also created by him at that time The Sanglyph was made.

In 2003, once Pieter Van Eckhardt regained all the Obscura Paintings, he assembled the Sanglyph once more, in a final attempt to revive the Sleeper. He failed, and the Sanglyph used by Lara to destroy both Joachim Karel and the Sleeper.
Appearance

Powers
The Sanglyph grants the bearer the power to manipulate energy into the form of purple beams and orange flames, with high velocity. It can also create energy barriers which allow no physical passage through them. Finally, the Sanglyph can make identical copies of the bearer and use the clones as weapons.
