Kosa is a friend of Lara's, from Tanzania, Africa.
When Lara uses the orb to find the location of the Cradle of Life, she gets visions of the Kilimanjaro, in Africa. She arranges a meeting with Kosa, who picks her up with a jeep in the middle of the wilderness, where Lara lands with her parachute.
