Mexico is one of the locations Lara visits in Tomb Raider Underworld. She's already been to Mexico in the Comic story arc Merlin Stone.

The introductory line to the Southern Mexico section reads "My father's photographs revealed the location of Thor's belt in Central America and his hammer between Greenland and Norway.
