Today [[Crystal Dynamics]] and [[Square Enix]] revealed the release dates for the [[Steam]], [[PC]], and [[PlayStation 4]] versions of the upcoming [[Rise of the Tomb Raider]]. While the Steam and PC versions are scheduled for release in early 2016, PlayStation users have to be more patient: The PS4 version will not be ready before the end of 2016<ref>http://tombraider.tumblr.com/post/124843126455/square-enix-announces-rise-of-the-tomb-raider-for</ref>. There have been no news about a possible PS3 or a Mac version of the game.

While this seems like a long wait for this highly anticipated continuation of the [[Tomb Raider (2013)]] reboot, it is the first time that these versions have been officially confirmed at all. Rise of the Tomb Raider is scheduled for release on [[Xbox One]] in November 2015.
