The '''Crawlspace Roll''' is a move introduced in [[Tomb Raider Chronicles]]. It enables Lara to get quickly out of crawlspaces. In [[Tomb Raider III]] and [[Tomb Raider IV The Last Revelation]] Lara had to turn around and exit a crawlspace feet first. 

To perform the crawlspace roll the player crawls towards the edge and presses the [[Jump]] button to roll out of the crawlspace. This only works when there is a drop on the other side. Otherwise one simply crawls out and stands up.

The first time Lara encounters a crawlspace where she can perform the crawlspace roll is in the backstage area of the [[Rome|Roman]] Operahouse in the level [[Streets of Rome]].
