The Great Pyramid is the fifteenth and final level of the original Tomb Raider game. In this level the player will have to defeat the Legless Mutant and destroy the Scion.

The first part of the level includes the fight with the Legless Mutant and the following return to the platform with the Scion (through several fleshy and stone corridors).

The rest of the level is mostly a gauntlet-like experience, with Lara evading numerous different traps, such as spikes, dart shooters, boulders, spilling lava, swinging blades, etc.

In the final huge chamber of the level, Lara confronts Natla, who apparently survived the fall to the bottom of the pyramid. After the Atlantean queen is defeated, Lara can climb all the way to the top of the room and slide down the tunnel, which marks the end of the game.

Lara is actually sliding down the same slope at the beginning of the Atlantean Stronghold level in Unfinished Business.
